The Crash

My goal was to construct a large scale 3D object that synthesized a personal experience of built environments.
 
I created this piece as a reflection of a major car accident I was involved in. I started by using a steel pipe to act as an axle then used 3mm wire to construct the body of the jeep.

The broken wire on the left side of the Jeep represents my crash and the balloons represent my invisible injuries and trauma slowly starting to float away, but still lingering as seen by the popped balloon. My sculpture as well as a wallpaper I have made were featured in The Feels Seattle showcasen shown below.
